Beautiful Spain's Coasts


  • Costa Brava 
Costa Brava, between the Mediterranenan and the Pyrenees, is the popularly accepted name of the littoral of the province of Girona





  • Costa Blanca 

    Costa Blanca takes up the stretch of Mediterranean coast that corresponds to the province of Alicante, a great example of what is known as Mediterranean landscape



  • Costa del Sol


 Costa del Sol takes up about 300 kilometres of the Mediterranean littoral that corresponds to the province of Malaga

 


  • Costa Tropical

    the west coast of Granada known as Costa Tropical. From here to the city of Málaga

     
     
    • Canary Islands

     The seven islands that form the Canarian archipelago are located about 1,000 km south of the Iberian Peninsula and only 115 km off the African coast.



  • Golfo Ártabro

    To the northeast of Galicia, we find four estuaries that form the Gulf of Artabro: A Coruña, Betanzos, Ares, and Ferrol. They reflect a historical land that was settled by the Artabros.



  • Costa Dorada

    In the south of Catalonia, Costa Dorada, dotted with seaside villages, is an area of long fishing tradition.

The Valencian Coast stretches along a province with two clearly distinct landscapes: the coast and the mountains.

    The infinite beaches of Costa de la Luz, lined by pine groves, form an arch from Ayamonte to Tarifa, from the mouth of the Guadiana River to the Strait of Gibraltar


  • Costa Cálida 


    Costa Cálida is an extensive stretch in the Spanish coastline where the harsh mountain landscape prolongs its stark tranquility to the sea edge.




  • Balearic Islands
The archipelago has become a tourist emporium and the top tourist destination in the western Mediterranean. It hosts an excellent combination of elegant summer resorts, coves and beaches, without detracting from the beautiful spots hidden inland on each of the islands. The Balearic Islands include Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza, and Formentera, plus numerous isles like the ones that form the La Cabrera Archipelago, declared a Marine-Land National Park. Baleares, also officially known as the Illes Balears (Balearic Islands), is an Autonomous Community with its own government. There are seventeen Autonomous Communities in Spain.
